1. Service and account
CaptionQA helps compare video captions, speech and supplied scripts. These terms apply to your use of captionsqa.com. You must be legally able to enter this agreement, provide accurate account information and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize in your workspace.
2. Your content and permitted use
You retain ownership of your uploads. You grant us permission to store, process and send the content needed to our service providers solely to provide and secure the service. Upload only content you have the right to process, including any necessary permissions from people featured in it. Do not upload unlawful or malicious material, infringe others’ rights, bypass usage limits or attempt unauthorized access.
3. AI results and editorial responsibility
AI analysis can miss problems or produce incorrect findings. Review results against the original video before publishing or relying on them. CaptionQA does not certify accuracy, legal compliance or accessibility. You remain responsible for your editorial decisions and published content.
4. Plans and payments
Plan limits and prices are displayed on the pricing and billing pages. When paid subscriptions are available, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment, tax calculation and billing support under its buyer terms. The final price, currency, applicable taxes, renewal interval and any trial terms appear at checkout. Recurring subscriptions renew unless canceled.
5. Cancellation, refunds and quotas
Manage cancellation through the billing portal. Access continues until the cancellation’s effective date shown there, unless your subscription is ended immediately. Refund requests are handled through Paddle under our refund policy, Paddle’s rules and applicable consumer law; cancellation alone does not guarantee a refund. Analysis limits depend on your plan. Minutes reserved for an analysis that fails or is canceled are released according to the recorded job outcome.
6. Availability, termination and your rights
We may restrict access to address abuse, security threats or nonpayment. You can stop using the service and request account deletion; an active paid subscription must first be canceled. Keep your own copies of important files. The service may experience interruptions, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Material changes will be published here with an updated date and will not retroactively change completed purchases.
